REFORMATION DAY 2015 Chris discusses the original holiday celebrated each year in Protestant Europe, which is known as Reformation Day. It was on October 31, 1517 that Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany and began the Great Reformation that would follow. While America has adopted this day for "Halloween," it has for centuries served as a reminder (to historic Protestants) of the movement that delivered the Church from the darkness of popery.
