The Pope says that no longer should we put our hope in Jesus Christ, but instead our hope must be put in the Virgin Mary and the Mother Church. This is a very bad statement and must be corrected, by the Bible, so that the world understands how we gain salvation and focus our hope on the Biblical object of hope, the person Jesus Christ. Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung and Mike Gendron will discuss the false teaching of the Catholic Church and the Pope who leads that Church; why there should be less focus on the Virgin Mary, and more on Jesus; the fact that the Church does not have more authority than the Bible; and how a Catholic can come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
