When a tragedy happens, it’s best to get at the truth behind it and work to prevent a reoccurrence. In this week’s boralogue, John ties together numerous stories from the past few decades and shows that to get at that truth you need to ask the hard questions. Time and again, answers and effective solutions are thwarted by the politically correct mantra of the day. We must learn from history or we are doomed to repeat it. This week marks the 14th anniversary of the September 11 attacks and we remember the victims and the heroes who died that awful day and thank them for their sacrifice. A decade and a half later, are we making the same political errors we made prior to 9/11? The question we have to ask is: have we learned from our mistakes? Joining us this week to answer these questions are Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net), Retired Special Agent with the former Immigration and Naturalization Services, and Dan Gordon, Captain in the Israeli Defense Forces. With another terror attack looming on the horizon, is the United States doing all it can to prevent this from happening? We learn that it may be déjà vu all over again as corruption has increased between Mexican cartel members and border agents, Iran has sleeper cells ready to attack at a moment’s notice, and U.S. immigration policies have kowtowed to political correctness, allowing thousands to cross our borders with nothing more than a rubber stamp of approval. We cannot afford to ignore security measures proposed after 2001. Our weekly Section 6 intelligence briefing returns this week featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes a closer look at the global impact of China’s economy.
