The Second Amendment. Among the Constitutional freedoms
that continue to be assailed by subversive groups in the United States, there is
none more threatened (after the right to LIFE) than the right to bear arms. But
what did the men who drafted our Constitution and those who formulated the beliefs
of early America have to say about the private use of arms, and of self defense?
What did they mean when they used the word "militia?" Was it a government
controlled force? Or the citizens themselves? Most importantly, what does the
Bible tell us about the use of arms and upholding the commandments of God?
