While the initial dialogue from the Pope was carefully managed by Vatican officials, and they cautioned anyone from reading too much into the pontiff's words, it appears that Dolan (who holds the most powerful Roman Catholic office in the United States) has made it clear that giving at least limited approval to homosexuality is what's in view.
