GRACE Chris continues his discussion on the chief doctrines of the Christian faith.  Having discussed the definition of the Gospel and the doctrine of Repentance, attention is turned to the doctrine of the Grace of God.  What is grace?  What role does it play in salvation.  The Reformers taught both "grace alone" and "faith alone."  Some have thought these ideas to contradict each other, but how does the Word of God teach us that they work together?  Perhaps most importantly, when does a believer receive the grace of God?  Is it when they come to salvation?  Or even before?
