This phrase, translated from the Hebrew, "the ninth day of the Jewish month of Av". It was on this day in 586BC when the Babylonians destroyed Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem. Then on the same day on the calendar in 70AD, the Romans destroyed Herod's Temple in Jerusalem. Winkie will give us that history and the hope of the Jewish People for another Temple, the Third Temple, in Jerusalem by the next Tisha B'Av, a year from now.
