Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Leading off tonight, Headline USA reports that while Elon Musk has talked a big game when it comes to privacy and free speech, he’s continued to sell Twitter/X user data to a controversial surveillance company that provides services to the U.S. military and intelligence agencies, according to a new report in The Intercept.

Citing emails obtained via the Freedom of Information Act, The Intercept reported Monday that Twitter is continuing to sell user data to Dataminr, which provides its customers with customized real-time “alerts” on desired topics, “giving clients like police departments a form of social media omniscience.”

“The alerts allow police to, for instance, automatically track a protest as it moves from its planning stages into the streets, without requiring police officials to do any time-intensive searches,” The Intercept reported.

“Watching everything that happens on X in real time is key to Dataminr’s pitch to the government. The company essentially leases indirect access to this massive spray of information, with Dataminr acting as an intermediary between X’s servers and a multitude of police, intelligence, and military agencies.”

While Dataminr’s relationship with Twitter was long known, it was unclear if it continued after Musk bought the platform. But a July 2023 message confirms that the relationship is ongoing.

A representative of the surveillance company reportedly wrote to the Secret Service in that July 2023 message:

“Dataminr has a unique contractual relationship with Twitter, whereby we have real-time access to the full stream of all publicly available Tweets.”

The Intercept’s report is the latest disappointment for users that hoped Musk would stick to his word on the reforms he promised for Twitter.

The company has also reverted to its pre-Musk censorship and banning policies, announcing last September that it would ban users for “commercial inviability”—in other words, the company will kick users off the platform if they post messages that upset advertisers.

The company also updated its privacy policies that will allow for the collection of biometric data and employment history, among other information.

The British legal system has been “hijacked” by the U.S. in order to go after WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange, his wife Stella has told RT.com. She added that it is still possible for British courts to make things right.

The High Court in London ruled on Tuesday to postpone Assange’s extradition hearing pending “assurances” from the U.S. government that he would not be exposed to torture or the death penalty.

Stella Assange, who is also her husband’s attorney, told RT:

“This is a political case. I think it’s very obvious to anyone who looks at this and the bizarre turns that this case has taken.”

She added that the case “should have been thrown out from the very beginning. I still retain some hope that the UK courts will stop this abusive persecution of Julian in which the legal system has been hijacked for political purposes.”

LifeSite News reports that physician-assisted suicides rose by 20 percent in Oregon last year, according to an annual report released Wednesday by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on the impact of the state’s longstanding so-called Death With Dignity Act.

The Death With Dignity Act’s passage made Oregon the first state in America to allow assisted suicide in 1997; it was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2006. Between 1998 and 2022, it is calculated that 2,454 have used the law to kill themselves, with an average age of just over 72 years old.

Last year, Oregon abandoned its residency requirement for assisted suicide.

As highlighted by Oregon Right to Life, the OHA’s latest data suggests the change has had a significant impact in euthanasia rates, as it has made the Beaver State a magnet for those from elsewhere in the country seeking to end their lives.

The report found 560 euthanasia prescriptions in 2023, a rise of nearly 30 percent from 2022, and 367 deaths resulting from ultimately taking the drugs, a 20 percent rise. While 82 percent of cases were aged 65 or above, the youngest recipient was only 29 years old.

Dr. Sharon Quick, president of the Physicians for Compassionate Care Education Foundation, responded to the latest data, saying:

“Allowing out-of-state residents to come to Oregon for evaluation by a doctor who may not know them and has an even greater chance of missing depression and coercion shows lack of respect for these patients. They may experience pressure to take the drugs quickly without the company of loved ones, given the time and effort of travel and the complications that might ensue if they take them in their home state. A rash decision becomes their last one.”

Also from LifeSite News, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) is a “blessing,” Republican Senator Ted Cruz declared on Wednesday, despite the fact that this process results in destroyed embryos.

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Wednesday to discuss legislation to protect embryo-destroying IVF. The hearing came in the wake of an Alabama Supreme Court decision affirming that frozen embryos are human beings. The decision came after parents sued an IVF facility for wrongful death after their frozen embryos were accidentally destroyed.

Republicans in Alabama later joined with Democrats to effectively nullify that decision, despite the state’s past support for the sanctity of human life. Former President Donald Trump also endorsed IVF.

But here’s Senator Cruz speaking on the topic.

Live Action reports that the government of the United Kingdom has included being “anti-abortion” as one of the benchmarks of potential terrorism, according to Right to Life UK.

The government’s counter-terrorism strategy includes Prevent, a preventative training to stop people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. It is aimed at individuals who work in education, health, local authorities, police, and criminal justice. The training is said to focus on “Islamist and extreme right-wing ideologies” and includes examples of what it considers “single-issue ideologies” that can lead to terrorism.

“Narratives are likely to come from those who seek to change a specific policy or practice, as opposed to replacing the whole economic, political or social system,” the training states. “Examples include animal rights, anti-abortion or anti-fascism. Single-issue narratives can be politically agnostic, meaning they may be neither right nor left aligned.”

Right to Life UK spokesperson, Catherine Robinson, said in response, “The Government are explicit that they believe that being pro-life is a potential ideology leading to terrorism. There has not been a single instance of anti-abortion terrorism in British history. It is a grave insult and sign of deep intolerance that the Government, via Prevent training, implies that being pro-life is potentially the beginning of the road towards terrorism.”

We’ve heard a lot about the rise in turbo cancers that may have been caused by the unsafe and ineffective mRNA jabs unleashed on the world over the last three years by Big Pharma and the Pharma-friendly politicians.

But the military-industrial complex is guilty of causing its own rash of turbo cancers in countries as diverse as Iraq, Afghanistan and Serbia.

In 1999, an armed confrontation between the Albanian Muslim militants of the Kosovo Liberation Army and the Serbian military led to the NATO bombing of the then Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, consisting of Serbia and Montenegro. This was done under the administration of Bill Clinton.

There is a direct cause and effect connection between the use of depleted uranium by NATO troops and the increase in the incidence of cancer and other diseases, a Serbian lawyer told Sputnik.

And now these same depleted uranium shells are being used by Ukraine in its war with Russia.

Here is the Serbian lawyer speaking about the devastating health effects these weapons had on his country.

In other news, Mike Lindell’s MyPillow is being ordered to leave its Shakopee, Minnesota, facility after a judge ruled to evict the company Tuesday in Scott County court.

The eviction comes after the building's landlord, First Industrial L.P., filed an eviction complaint earlier this month for the warehouse on 4701 Valley Industrial Boulevard South, claiming MyPillow hadn't paid its rent for February and March. According to court documents, First Industrial is owed more than $217,000 in back rent and other payments.

Court documents show that there was no representative for MyPillow at Tuesday's hearing as the judge ordered the company to “immediately” vacate the building, while also issuing a writ of recovery.

Here’s how the local NBC affiliate, KARE 11, reported the story.

As you can see from that report, the media definitely has a bias against Mike Lindell and is happy to see him in financial trouble. KARE 11 went on from there to try to insinuate that Lindell is “using his legal troubles for a new fundraising appeal,” as if there is anything illegal or unethical about that. There’s not. As long as you say what the money being raised is to be used for, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that appeal. But the media is never going to give anyone affiliated with Trump a fair shake.

Well, it happened again. It’s almost not even worth reporting anymore because it happens so often, it’s not really news.

A man pretending to be a woman has won another female weight-lifting competition.

This time it was Vicki Piper, a male, who competed as a woman at the Masters National Weightlifting Championships this past weekend in Reno, Nevada.

Mr. Piper won first place, beating out all the other women in his category.

Good question. Why are they standing for it?

The Texas Scorecard reports that after nearly a decade, a deal has finally been reached to dismiss state securities fraud charges against Attorney General Ken Paxton that have amounted to what some have called a political prosecution.

The charges stem back to 2015, shortly after Paxton took office as attorney general, when he was indicted in Collin County for allegedly failing to disclose his financial interest in a firm to potential investors. The Collin County indictment came after several counties declined to do so.

In the following nine years, the case has moved venues multiple times and been delayed repeatedly as the prosecutors sought to increase their own pay.

In a Houston court on Tuesday, Paxton and the prosecutors announced they had reached a deal to dismiss the charges and cancel the trial, which was slated to begin in three weeks.

According to the terms of the pretrial diversion agreement, Paxton must pay around $300,000 in restitution, along with 100 hours of community service and 15 hours of legal ethics courses.

Dan Cogdell, an attorney representing Paxton, said the state approached them with the deal and it does not amount to an admission of guilt, adding:

“The agreement allows him to get back to representing the citizens of the State of Texas. But let me be clear, at no time was he going to enter any plea bargain agreement or admit to conduct that simply did not occur. There is no admission of any wrongdoing on Ken’s part in the agreement because there was no wrongdoing on his part.”

Paxton, meanwhile, said he was grateful for his legal team and eager to have it behind him.

“For over a decade, my family and I have been dealing with the ongoing stress of these accusations, and are relieved to finally have a resolution in this matter. The prosecution came to us to begin negotiations and we were able to come to an agreement on terms. There will never be a conviction in this case nor am I guilty.”

The deal marks the end of a long saga that culminated in the Texas House’s impeachment of Paxton last year, in part due to accusations of “obstruction” in the case. Even after the Senate acquitted Paxton on impeachment charges, some House members—including Speaker Dade Phelan—predicted Paxton would be imprisoned due to the state charges.

So goes another political hit job compliments of the American deep state.

Famed American political operative Roger Stone revealed that despite being a baptized, rosary-praying Catholic, he goes to a Presbyterian church because after opposing his parish’s COVID restrictions, his local archdiocese informed him he’s “no longer welcome in church.”

Stone said at a March 19 Catholic Prayer for Trump event at Mar-a-Lago:

“I’m proud to stand with all my fellow Catholics. Now some will say, wait a minute, Stone, we saw you at the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church worshipping on a Sunday; it’s true.”

Stone further explained, adding:

“See, I was going to the local Catholic church, but I had real problems with their masking and their social distancing in violation of Florida state law. And when I threatened to sue the archdiocese, I was politely told that I was no longer welcome in church. So yes, I do attend Sunday services at Coral Ridge.”

Florida law prohibits forcing patrons to mask.

In fact, illegal families are given nearly seven times the amount of your average deployed military family.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

RT.com reports that the perpetrators and masterminds of Friday’s deadly terrorist attack at a Moscow concert venue must be killed without mercy, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has claimed.

At least 140 people have been killed and nearly 200 wounded when four men armed with rifles opened fire inside the Crocus City Hall and then proceeded to set the concert venue on fire. The four terrorists have been captured. Two of them have confessed in court, and are set to remain in custody until late May. They all face life in prison.

Medvedev, who now serves as deputy chairman of the Russian National Security Council, wrote in a post to his Telegram account:

“Everyone asks me. What to do? … Should they be killed? It should and will be done. It is much more important to kill everyone involved. Everyone. Who paid, who sympathized, who helped. Kill them all.”

Medvedev earlier stated that “Terrorists understand only terror in response” and that “all of them must be found and mercilessly destroyed as terrorists – including officials of the state that committed such an atrocity.”

That sounds an awful lot like the rhetoric we heard from Bibi Netanyahu and other Israeli politicians in the wake of the October 7 massacre in Israel. Maybe Russia should back off of Israel while they are busy finding and executing all of those responsible for the March 22 attack on the Moscow concert venue.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

Why is it OK for Russia to pursue all of the killers in its terrorist nightmare but Israel must rein in its pursuit of Hamas terrorists?

Medvedev vowed to “avenge each and every” victim of the Crocus City Hall attack, regardless of country of origin and status, insisting this “is now our legal and main goal.”

This is understandable. But so is the reaction of the Israeli government when that country came under the scourge of Islamic terror.

Medvedev’s comments come amid growing calls among the country’s lawmakers to restore the death penalty, which has effectively been banned in Russia since 1996. While the Russian criminal code technically has a provision for capital punishment, courts are de facto banned from handing down such a sentence.

Expect that to change soon.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.
