News stories are often negative in nature in order to interest viewers. In this week’s boralogue, John takes a look at the last 25 years, full of angst and worry concerning a myriad of situations, and a sense now that negativity is on the rise. Things come and go; often things we thought were important at the time. But God does not change. Trust in Him to guide you through the angst.

It has been reported that Homeland Security officials have removed nearly 1,000 names of suspected terrorists from the U.S. terror watch list. Chris Farrell (www.judicialwatch.org), Director of Investigations and Research at Judicial Watch, reveals why these names were scrubbed and how the redefinition of words and thought played a part.

The definition of psychological illness is quickly changing as mental health screenings could become mandatory at your next doctor’s office visit. Correspondent for The New American Alex Newman (www.thenewamerican.com) weighs in on this, exploring how Obamacare is paving the way, and the dangers of subjective diagnoses.

Do you know the difference between the Dark Ages and the Middle Ages? Scholar Tim LeCroy Pastor of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Missouri, explains the difference and shows how virtually all systems in the West has its basis in Christianity.

Finally, we welcome Nick Adams, President of the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness, who analyzes the perils of political correctness and suggests how we can fight it and say we’re not going to take it anymore!

John’s quote of the week:
“If we look at politically correct ideology, it’s an assault on success; it enforces mediocrity; it suppresses the robust debate we need in a free society; and in many cases literally it’s killing us.”
