Zero Hedge reports that Israel’s top military intelligence official has announced his resignation in a shock development for the country while it's still at war, citing his failure to anticipate the October 7th Hamas terror attack. Major General Aharon Haliva, chief of the Israel Defense Forces Military Intelligence Directorate, is expected to vacate the position as soon as his replacement is appointed. 

This makes Haliva the first senior officer to resign over October 7th, and comes as large Israeli protests have persisted in reaction to the Netanyahu government's failure to achieve the safe return of the remaining hostages being held by Hamas.

A military announcement confirmed the resignation has been approved by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. According to a statement in Israeli media, “Alongside Haliva, other top defense officials have said they bear responsibility for the deadly invasion carried out by Hamas on October 7, including the head of the Shin Bet security agency and the IDF chief of staff.”

As for these additional officials, “None of them has announced plans to resign as of yet, though many are expected to do so once the security situation stabilizes,” Times of Israel reports.

There's been widespread questioning as to how Hamas and other Palestinian militants were able to breach Israel's southern borders with ease on October 7th – even overrunning IDF border outposts, amid the deadly attack on the Nova music festival. Israel has some of the most sophisticated and advanced surveillance systems in the world.

Over 1,160 people were killed, mostly civilians, and more than 240 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage, but many of the captives have since died. The security failures of Oct.7 are still under investigation and are likely to be scrutinized for years to come.

Multi-billionaire Robert Kraft has announced that he is pulling his donations from his alma mater Columbia University because of the ugly pro-Hamas student demonstrations that have taken over the campus starting last Wednesday.

Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, said Monday said he will no longer donate to Columbia due to the “virulent hate” on campus against Jewish people.

The move comes amid the ongoing widespread anti-Israel protests at the Ivy League school in New York City.

In a Monday statement, Kraft said in a post to X:

Kraft, founder of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, wrote, “The school I love so much—the one that welcomed me and provided me with so much opportunity—is no longer an institution I recognize. I am no longer confident that Columbia can protect its students and staff and I am not comfortable supporting the university until corrective action is taken.”

Kraft continued by noting he is “deeply saddened at the virulent hate that continues to grow on campus and throughout our country.”

The anti-Israel protests at Columbia started last Wednesday morning.

It began as an encampment by hundreds of students on the university’s main lawn.

The protests quickly turned violent and featured anti-Semitic slogans, leading to dozens of arrests. Of course, most of those arrested were immediately released.

Among the most rabid pro-Hamas supporters taking part in the demonstrations is the daughter of the radical Somali refugee turned Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Isra Hirsi.

Hirsi announced last Thursday she was suspended from Barnard College over her involvement in the protests on the campus of Columbia University.

A high school student in North Carolina is facing criminal assault charges after being caught on camera slapping a teacher during a profanity-laced outburst.

The April 15th incident involving the unidentified teenager occurred at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, said the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office in a post to Facebook. A video posted to X shows the student standing over a teacher who is seated before striking her in the face, twice.

Slay News reports that alarming figures revealed in official government data expose the shocking impact on young people from the global Covid mRNA injection campaign.

Official data published by the UK government’s Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that young people who have received four Covid shots are a staggering 318% more likely to die than their unvaxxed piers.

The data shows a huge spike in sudden deaths and major health complications of quad-vaxxed young people aged 18-39 years old.

An analysis of the data by The Exposé revealed that February 2023 shows the widest margin of mortality rates between the unvaccinated group and those who had received four shots.

The other months analyzed showed quad-injected young people were between 221% and 290% more likely to die than those who didn’t get the shot.

Business Insider reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has strongly suggested that his country intends to seize the city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine, making him the first senior Kremlin official to identify the city as a potential target.

During a radio interview with Russian state media, Lavrov said Ukraine's second-largest city had “an important role” in Russian President Vladimir Putin's plans to create a demilitarized sanitary zone to protect Russian border regions from Ukrainian attacks, according to the globalist think-tank the Institute for the Study of War in an update on the conflict on Friday. This institute was founded by Victoria Nuland’s daughter, who remains its president, and neocon warmonger William Kristol sits on its board, if that tells you anything.

Moscow has already made it clear that it believes the only way to defend Russian territory is through such a buffer zone, which would put its settlements out of reach of Ukrainian fire.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in March:

“Against the backdrop of drone attacks and the shelling of our territory: public facilities, residential buildings, measures must be taken to secure these territories. They can only be secured by creating some kind of buffer zone so that any means that the enemy uses to strike us are out of range.”

Given the source, this can only be taken as a boastful announcement from the neocons that their constant barrage of drones against Russian territory is getting to the Russians. Of course, to any sane American this is not good news because it means we are that much closer to provoking an attack on American soil by a country armed to the hilt with nuclear weapons and major cyber-hacking capabilities.

In fact, Axios reported this week that a hacking organization traced to Russia is targeting water systems in the United States, France and Poland.

It’s coming, folks, and we have no one to blame but the neocons in Washington, who are determined to keep poking the bear.

The military website Task and Purpose is reporting that the U.S. Army is showing no signs of curtailing its deployments to Europe as the war in Ukraine continues to grind on.

On Wednesday the Army announced that about 3,400 soldiers with the 101st Airborne Division’s 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team will head to Eastern Europe this fall, as will 200 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division Headquarters.

The units will deploy primarily to Romania as well in Southeastern Europe and to the continent’s “High North” region that includes Scandinavian countries, Army officials said.

Among the 101st troops are infantry units from the division’s storied 187th Infantry Regiment, known as the Rakkasans.

The brigade from the 101st Airborne will replace the division’s 1st Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The 82nd Airborne troops will replace a similar unit from the 10th Mountain Division, an Army news release says.

Army Col. Martin O’Donnell, a spokesman for U.S. Army Europe, said in a statement:

“During the upcoming deployments, these disciplined airborne and air assault units, just like the 10th Mountain Division and 1st Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division before them, will build allied competency and increase interoperability, and improve their combat readiness and warfighting abilities.”

The Winepress News reports that the Australian state government of New South Wales has recently debuted its new digital ID birth certificates, which are created and issued upon a child’s birth. They can also be obtained upon request by a legal adult.

As the tech website Pymnts put it, “digital birth certificates are emerging as the latest addition to the digital identity landscape, offering a glimpse into the future of identification and authentication.”

According to an official page on the NSW’s website, the new IDs come in a verifiable, unique standalone ID, and are stored on user’s smartphones for easy access. They are simply known as the Digital Birth Certificate, or DBC, which is tied to a unique biometric identifier, such as a face scan, palm scan or eye scan.

The pilot program began on April 9th.

The Australian newspaper The Mandarin reported: “With the same legal standing as the paper document, the introduction of the digital birth certificate opens opportunities for it to be used to help register a child in junior sport, get a unique student identifier number or apply for a loan.”

Second Amendment advocate and frequent blogger Lee Williams reports that Arkansas Republican Senators Tom Cotton and John Boozman are pushing for answers about the ATF’s March 19th SWAT raid, during which Little Rock Airport executive Bryan Malinowski was shot and killed in his own home.

The Senators said in a joint statement released Friday:

“The Department of Justice confirmed to us last night that the ATF agents involved in the execution of a search warrant of the home of Bryan Malinowski weren’t wearing body cameras. We will continue to press the Department to explain how this violation of its own policy could’ve happened and to disclose the full circumstances of this tragedy. Mr. Malinowski’s family and the public have a right to a full accounting of the facts.”

ATF has yet to comment officially about Malinowski’s killing other than to claim he fired first. But Malinowski’s family recently said in a statement that the 53-year-old airport executive likely did not know he was trading gunfire with federal agents. It is far more likely he believed he was defending himself and his wife from armed home invaders.

A yet-unidentified ATF agent shot Malinowski in the head with a carbine at least once. Malinowski lingered for two days before dying of his wounds.

A story published last week chronicled a host of less-lethal tactics ATF could have used during the raid — any one of which would have spared Malinowski’s life.

And the two Senators are not the only elected officials seeking answers from ATF. Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin is also asking questions.

The New American reports that Chinese President Xi Jinping announced on April 19 a large-scale overhaul of the Chinese military and the creation of the Information Support Force, or ISF.

This will be a new wing of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, which will oversee hybrid warfare.

According to Russia Today, Xi declared in his speech that China must channel efforts toward developing its military and boost military capabilities via “reform, science, and new talent.”

Xi praised the new wing of the army as a strategic force that will give invaluable support for the use of information system networks and coordination.

One of China’s major news outlets reported that Xi instructed “the force to resolutely obey the Party’s command, and make sure it stays absolutely loyal, pure and reliable.”

The report added, “[Xi] urged efforts to build a network information system that fulfills the requirements of modern warfare and features the Chinese military’s own characteristics, as well as efforts to accelerate the development of integrated combat capabilities more effectively.”

Based on reports by The Economic Times, China’s ISF is deemed a new version of the PLA’s Strategic Support Force set up in 2015 by the Chinese military to tackle space, cyber, political, and electronic warfare to participate in “informationized wars.”

According to another article by The Economic Times, the PLA Strategic Support Force has centralized space, cyber, electronic, and psychological warfare capabilities into a single service. Its role was praised as vital in attaining Xi’s aim to transform the PLA into a world-class modern army.

CNBC reports that former President Donald Trump is poised to receive an additional 36 million shares of Trump Media as part of a so-called earnout bonus worth more than $1.25 billion, at Monday’s price.

Shares of Trump Media, which owns the Truth Social app, were trading at around $35 per share midday Monday, about half the price per share they debuted at in March.

But that price is twice the $17.50 benchmark minimum share price, which the DJT ticker has to hit by the close of trading Tuesday, for Trump to become eligible for the extra earnout shares. So it looks like a sure thing.

The 36 million additional earnout shares for Trump would be added to the 78 million shares he already owns, as the company’s majority shareholder.

When the earnout shares are added to his existing stock, Trump’s total stake in Trump Media would be worth more than $4 billion on paper, at $35 a share.

Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom released a bizarre pro-abortion ad over the weekend showing young women desperately trying to escape Alabama to a place where they can kill their unborn baby.

The video shows two young women attempting to flee Alabama before being stopped by a police officer who asks them to take a pregnancy test.

“We’re almost there. We’re gonna make it,” the woman’s friend says when a police vehicle suddenly pulls them over.

“Trump Republicans want to criminalize young Alabama women who travel for reproductive care,” the narrator says. “Stop them by taking action.”

“Alabama’s abortion ban has no exceptions for rape or incest,” Newsom wrote. “Now, Republicans are trying to criminalize young women’s travel to receive abortion care. We cannot let them get away with this.”

The Gateway Pundit reminded us that back in 2022, California Rep. Eric Swalwell released a similarly dramatic ad in which a woman was arrested in front of her two children after getting an abortion. After she resists arrest, the cops pull out their firearms and placed her in handcuffs in front of her screaming family.

The reality in the United States is the exact opposite.
