Saudi Arabia’s cabinet approved a decision to join a China-led security bloc, strengthening Riyadh’s ties with Beijing in a further step away from U.S. interests.

According to CNBC, the state-owned Saudi Press Agency said that, in a session presided over by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi cabinet on Tuesday approved a memorandum awarding Riyadh the status of dialogue partner in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization — a political, security and trade alliance that lists China, Russia, India, Pakistan and four other central Asian nations as full members.

The organization further tallies four observer states — including Iran — and nine dialogue partners, counting in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. It is headquartered in Beijing and served by China’s Zhang Ming as secretary-general.

CNBC reports, “Saudi Arabia’s decision to join the SCO, while falling short of full membership, takes Riyadh’s interests further east, at a time when Beijing is testing out its sway in the Middle East in a potential hit to U.S. influence. In early March, China brokered a deal for long-time Mideast rivals Saudi Arabia and Iran to resume diplomatic relations and reopen embassies in each other’s countries.”

So even the mainstream corporate media is now beginning to inform the American people that a new club of nations is forming to counter U.S. influence in the world. What they aren’t really explaining yet is how that will impact Americans financially as the dollar is no longer the world’s reserve currency. They will find out soon enough.

Sweden's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, March 29th, it was summoning the Russian ambassador to Stockholm, over threats concerning the country's application to join NATO. The Foreign Ministry deemed the ambassador's comments an “attempt at interference.”

The Nordic country abandoned last year, alongside neighboring Finland, its military neutrality and sought NATO membership, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

What did the Russian ambassador say?

In a statement shared on the embassy's Facebook page titled “A Swedish step toward the abyss,” the ambassador said that if Finland and Sweden join NATO, the North Atlantic military alliance's borders with Russia would almost double, something that Russia finds unacceptable.

He added that this would not bolster Europe's security but rather make new NATO members “a legitimate target for Russian retaliatory measures, including those of a military nature.”

The Nordic countries' joint bid to become NATO members has been riddled with roadblocks, most notably due to diplomatic rows with Turkey, and to a lesser extent with Hungary. Turkey has said this month it intends to ratify Finland's bid, and Hungary's parliament already approved it, whereas Sweden's bid remains pending.

For a new country to join the alliance, all 30 member-states must unanimously approve its bid.

A woman in northern France is being put on trial on charges of insulting President Emmanuel Macron after describing him as “filth” in a Facebook post, a prosecutor said on Wednesday.

According to a report by Barron’s, the woman risks a fine of 12,000 euros but not prison if convicted at the trial scheduled to be held in June.

She was arrested Friday, March 24th, and detained for questioning after the state's local administrative office filed a complaint over her Facebook post, the prosecutor in the northern town of Saint Omer told AFP.

The complaint focused on a post on her Facebook page made on March 21, the day before Macron gave a lunchtime interview to TF1 television to defend his controversial pension reforms that have sparked nationwide protests.

She wrote, “This piece of filth is going to address you at 1:00 pm... it's always on television that we see this filth.”

The woman, in her 50s, had been a supporter of the 2018-2019 “Yellow Vest” protests against Macron’s first mandate.

She stands accused of “insulting the president of the republic” and will stand trial on June 20 in Saint Omer, the prosecutor said.

“They want to make an example of me,” the woman told the regional newspaper which first reported the accusations.

The woman, named by the paper as Valerie, said she was astonished when she answered the knock on the door Friday morning to find police had come to arrest her.

She said: “I asked them if it was a joke, I had never been arrested. I am not public enemy number one.”

Apparently France is also going the way of dictatorship, just like we saw in Canada with the truckers’ protest and in America with the J-6 protests. There is no more freedom of assembly, freedom to redress grievances with the government, or freedom of speech. It’s all going by the wayside even as our so-called leaders speak boastfully about “protecting our democracy” and scold foreign leaders for being tyrants.

The Daily Mail reports that Elon Musk and 1,000 other technology leaders including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak are calling for a pause on the “dangerous race” to develop artificial intelligence, which they fear poses a “profound risk to society and humanity” and could have “catastrophic effects.”

In an open letter on The Future of Life Institute, Musk and the others argued that humankind doesn't yet know the full scope of the risk involved in advancing the technology. 

They are asking all AI labs to stop developing their products for at least six months while more risk assessment is done. 

If any labs refuse, they want governments to “step in.” Musk's fear is that the technology will become so advanced, that it will no longer require - or listen to - human interference. 

It is a fear that is widely held and even acknowledged by the CEO of AI – the company that created ChatGPT – who said earlier this month that the tech could be developed and harnessed to commit widespread cyberattacks.

A former Google engineer predicts that humans will achieve immortality in eight years.

While his track record for making predictions is pretty good, with 86 percent of his 147 predictions proving correct, I doubt this one will land in the win column.

MSN reports that Ray Kurzweil spoke with the YouTube channel Adagio, discussing the expansion in genetics, nanotechnology, and robotics, which he believes will lead to age-reversing nanobots.

According to the article, these tiny robots will repair damaged cells and tissues that deteriorate as the body ages and make people immune to diseases like cancer.

The predictions that such a feat is achievable by 2030 have been met with excitement and skepticism, as curing all deadly diseases seems far out of reach, MSN reports.

Kurzweil was hired by Google in 2012 to “work on new projects involving machine learning and language processing,” but he was making predictions in technological advances long before.

In 1990, he predicted the world's best chess player would lose to a computer by 2000, and it happened in 1997 when Deep Blue beat Gary Kasparov.  

Kurzweil made another startling prediction in 1999: He said that by 2023 a $1,000 laptop would have a human brain's computing power and storage capacity.

Now the former Google engineer believes technology is set to become so powerful it will help humans live forever, in what is known as the singularity.

Singularity is a theoretical point when artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence and changes the path of our evolution, LifeBoat reports.

Kurzweil predicted that technological singularity would happen by 2045, with AI passing a valid test in 2029.

The Vatican says Pope Francis will be hospitalized for several days for treatment of a pulmonary infection after experiencing difficulty breathing in recent days.

Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni says Francis, 86, does not have COVID-19, but requires several days of therapy.

He said Wednesday that Francis had been suffering some breathing trouble in recent days and went to the Gemelli hospital for tests.

“The tests showed a respiratory infection (COVID-19 infection excluded) that will require some days of medical therapy,” Bruni's statement said.

Francis appeared in relatively good form during his regularly scheduled general audience Wednesday, though he grimaced strongly while getting into and out of the popemobile.

The pontiff is 86 years old and has had multiple medical issues over the last couple of years.

Another day, another chemical spill disaster to report.

A barge carrying 1,400 tons of toxic Methanol broke loose from a tugboat early Tuesday and has become submerged in the Ohio River after crashing into a dam in Kentucky. Officials said the U.S. Coast Guard is investigating the incident.

According to a press release from Louisville officials, a vessel hauling 11 barges “made contact with a stationary structure at the entrance to the Portland Canal near the McAlpine Lock and Dam.”

You could see the toxic sludge oozing out of that barge. The Ohio River serves as the drinking water source for millions of people and drains into the Mississippi River.

Just hours after a transgender shooter who goes by he/him pronouns shot up a Christian school and murdered Christian nine-year-olds, the press secretary for Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, Josselyn Berry, thought it was appropriate to tweet this.

Berry posts a tweet, since deleted, with imagery of guns directed at “transphobes.” On Wednesday, she resigned.

Berry posted it nearly 12 hours after the psychopathic trans killer shot up a Christian school, killing six people, including three children, in Nashville.

Berry's post came in response to someone who replied to her previous tweet stating: “If you work in the progressive community and are transphobic, you're not progressive. Period. End of story.”

It remains unclear whether her tweets had any connection to the Nashville shooting. But it really doesn’t matter. It shows the violent attitude of progressives toward anyone who disagrees with their far-left ideology.

Despite the rising political tensions across the country, ignited by a transgendered person shooting up a Christian school and a press secretary for a Democrat Governor posting a Tweet about shooting transphobes, the disgusting Trans Radical Activist Network is pushing forward with their divisive protest in DC. This is the group behind the “Day of Vengeance” that raised money for firearms training for trans activists. 

The Virginia chapter of the group held a dance party fundraiser in Richmond “benefiting firearm/self-defense training for trans-Virginians” on March 7, before the mass shooting had taken place. 

The protest on Saturday was initially meant to be called a “day of visibility” but rebranded before the shooting to vengeance because it means “fighting back with vehemence” – though the group was quick to say they do not “encourage or promote violence” when contacted by DailyMail.com.

But it gets worse, folks. Steve Poplar of The Poplar Report filed a video report Wednesday on the disturbing number of threats being called into Christian and especially Catholic schools in the wake of the attack on the Christian school in Nashville.

The other big propaganda narrative the Democrats are pushing in the wake of the Nashville school shooting is to use the tragedy to push Joe Biden’s assault weapons ban. This would include AR-15s and AK-47s.

But after assessing the video footage of the crime, it became clear that the media got the story wrong. The shooter did not use an assault weapon to kill anybody.

She entered the school with three weapons: An AR-15 pistol, a handgun and a pistol caliber carbine. She used the AR-15 to shoot out the glass door and gain entry, then went hunting for victims with the pistol-caliber carbine, which would have shot either 9mm or .40 caliber rounds, not the more powerful .223 or .556 rounds from an AR.

All of this is documented by the video footage. But the facts don’t matter to the Democrats and their media lackeys. They will continue blaming everything on guns and certain kinds of guns, until they can get enough support to take all the guns. That’s just what Democrats do.

Humza Yousaf, a Muslim who complained about too many white people in the Scottish government, was elected the new head of the Scottish National Party.

In his acceptance speech, he said:

“We should all take pride in the fact that today we have sent a clear message, that your color of skin, your faith, is not a barrier to leading the country we all call home.”

Yousaf’s father is from Pakistan and his mother is from Kenya. If you went to either of those countries, good luck applying the same philosophy and getting elected to any high office. You probably couldn’t get elected dog catcher as a white person in Pakistan or Kenya.

CNBC reported that Humza Yousaf on Monday was elected the new head of the Scottish National Party, promising in a speech to bring the party together, support citizens with the cost-of-living crisis and deliver independence from the United Kingdom.

He assumed political leadership in Scotland following his nomination in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday.

The SNP supports the campaign for Scotland to gain independence from the United Kingdom and holds a majority of 64 of the 129 seats in the Scottish parliament, giving it control over devolved areas that include housing, education, justice, local government and areas of taxation.

Yousaf, formerly Scotland’s health secretary, has served in government since 2012 and was considered the favorite in the race against Kate Forbes and Ash Regan.

In 2020, Humza Yousaf delivered a tirade in parliament about too many white people in the Scottish government.

What a doofus. Of course, most of the elected leaders are white because Scotland is a nation founded and built by white people. Just like Kenya and Sudan are black countries and Pakistan is an Asian country, Scotland is a white country. How many whites could we find in positions of authority in Kenya, Somalia, Sudan or Pakistan? The fact that nobody stood up and asked Mr. Yousaf that question and just accepted his beatdown of white people in their own white country, explains a lot about the state of Scotland, and why it is being taken over and transformed. 

Because Scots lack the will to defend their culture, their traditions, their nation, Scotland as we know it won’t exist for much longer. We see the same lack of pride and lack of interest in preserving the values of Western civilization in America today, as well. The Judeo-Christian values that formed the basis of that civilization are under attack like never before, and very few are willing to raise their voice against it. Let alone lift a finger. 

The Chinese, the Russians, the Iranians, the North Koreans, they all sense it. They sense our weakness. Let’s pray that our weak and feckless leaders do not reflect the true condition of the American people.
