The Iranian Labor News Agency (ILNA) quoted Sabah newspaper, a Turkish edition, as saying that Turkey does not have oil to export to other countries, and it is Iranian oil that is being sent from Turkey to Israel. Today, Wednesday, November 01, the leader of the Islamic Republic called for a ban on the exportation of oil from "Islamic countries" to Israel.

ILNA called the article published in Sabah newspaper, close to the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, "targeted".

In an interview with this news agency, Hedayatullah Khademi, a former member of the Islamic Council, said that considering the economic, military, cultural and tourism relations between Turkey and Israel, there is a possibility that Turkey will export the oil purchased from Iran to Israel.

The issue of the possibility of Iranian oil going from Turkey to Israel is discussed today, while Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, asked the Islamic governments not to cooperate economically with Israel and stressed that all exportation of oil and food to Israel should be closed.

According to Khademi, "Turkey pursues its national interests in a way that does not give up in any way in order to realize them and in fact does not consider friendship and enmity in the political relationship."

He emphasized that after the sale of oil, Iran has no responsibility for what the destination country will use it for: "The Islamic Republic has no role in the process of sending oil to Israel, and it will never damage its reputation because of a few barrels of oil."

Khademi warned that Tehran will reconsider its oil sales to Turkey if it learns the truth of this matter.

He further said that it is unlikely that Israeli refineries are designed to process the type of oil from Iran.

Tehran has always benefited from the leverage of oil and energy to put pressure on its competitors.

In regional and international disputes, the authorities of the Islamic Republic have repeatedly threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz, one of the main arteries of energy transmission in the world.

Hassan Nowrozi, a member of the legal and judicial commission of the parliament, warned on the 29th of October that the Islamic Republic of Iran will close the Strait of Hormuz if the United States intervenes directly in the conflict between Hamas and Israel.

Deadly clashes between Israel and Hamas have left thousands dead and wounded.

International efforts to stop the killing and bloodshed and to send humanitarian aid to the region continue.
